Mama Mary

Happy Birthday!

This is the same photo I used last year when I posted a blog to honor dear Mama Mary also on her birthday. (It can be seen here.) I can't stress enough how much help she has given me... From protecting me during the dark nights when I was to ride a Gasak-Recto jeepney all by myself up to healing my pains in battling family crisis... she's just always always there.

Let her unending love touch you as well as we pray:

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Mama Mary, you have given so much yet you did not ask for anything in return. I hope that like you, I may also be selfless. Thank you.
